External hard drives 1TB portable?

Is there any external hard drives 1TB that can be portable and don't require a power source ie. an adaptor? Or is there anything close to a 1TB? If so could you please provide links. Thanks in advance.

I am looking for a portable external hard drive that is between 500GB and 1TB (depends on the price). I plan on storing pictures and music along with some document and possibly back up my laptop as well. I want to know what are the best brands and models for what I need. I think I have narrowed it down to Seagate and Western Digital.

i have been using portable drives for quite a few years and have a few of them all western digital the best one i would say would be

it has a 3.0 USB which is a lot faster and its a good price for 1 TB
