Hello,

Seagate makes a portable drive called Goflex Satellite that works with Android Tablets, iPads, iPhones and Android phones. The drive holds up to 500gb and can be shared thru Wi-Fi with up to 3 devices at one time. It also has a USB 3 port to transfer your data when you are at your computer. Here is a link to a review of the drive.

Rogue virus infected my portable hard-drive?
Charlie
So I recently got the Win 7 Anti-virus rogue (which is a fake anti-virus program only created to get you to buy it and scam you out of your money) and it took over EVERYTHING. It infected all my administrative programs and even my start menu so that I was blocked and prevented from trying to get rid of it. It even burrowed its way into my Safe Mode somehow.
So I got help from my Dad and he reset my computer to factory settings and its all fine now.
HOWEVER. I have a portable hard-drive that has all my backed up files on it. All my music, videos, pictures, everything.
I did not back up ANY files onto it WHILE I had the virus, I promise. It was all backed up long before I got the virus.
I did, however, use my portable hard-drive to just you know look through old pictures and watch videos and stuff on it.
And I did have it in my computer during the time I had the rogue.
After fixing my computer and having it all back to normal, I took my portable hard-drive and put it into another computer. It worked perfectly fine. I even did a Norton Virus Scan on the deice to check if it was safe. And it was.
But my brother (a self proclaimed computer know it all) keeps saying "It wasn't a virus! It was an infection that seeped into all your files and infected everything! So Norton can't detect it! It's probably seeped into all of your portable hard-drive files too."
So, is he right? I can't see how such a powerful and successful program like Norton CAN'T detect an annoying rogue like this.
Even though I checked it and scanned it with Norton, is it possible that it seeped into all my backed up files??
Please help!!
