Netbooks are totally worthless even if you get free. These are so choppy and sluggish that you cant work on it for long hours.
You gave some positives of iPad and then negatives but those negatives don't exist :
No flash: You can run Netflix,Hulu,all the online video from Websites like Disney,ESPN,CBS,ABC,FOX NEWS,WHITEHOUSE.GOV and all others.
How is not having flash a drawback?
No external Drive: Cloud storage is future so it's right time to get into habit of using it and iPad is perfect for that. It has apps like Dropbox,Box.net that integrates with other apps so, all the email attachment,songs,videos can be save to these apps with one tap.And you won't be using any on device space. If you are going out of wi fi range,just bring selected item to device,after use send them back to cloud.On computer it's complicated , but on iPad it's as easy as playing iPod.
No USB SD CARD SLOT: Camera connection kit is available just for $29. Get it and connect any camera AND SD CARD directly to iPad. You can connect many other peripherals like USB HUB ,USB KEYBOARD.
NETBOOKS:Performance doesn't depend on the capacity only , it depends on ratio of load and capacity. iPad has less powerful processor but it's doesn't have load. It has iOS4 OS which is light but very functional. .Net books are actually nothing but cheap laptops they do not fall under new category because besides being cheap and sluggish they have nothing different from laptop. That's the reason Netbooms failed miserably.

PC games sucks on Netbooks. I own Toshiba Satellite Netbook and iPad both so I am in position to give hands on experience.It's just not possible to work on Netbooks.
Go to Bestbuy, play a movie via NETFLIX ON Netbook and iPad side by side, you will stark difference in video quality.iPad will blow any Netbook out of water.
Create a document on Netbook and then do the same thing on iPad and see which one is better and easier. I like iPad to the extent that I advice people if you have powerful Desktop then don't get laptop,get iPad instead.

Alright so I still haven't had time to go get the Ipod Touch yet but I have some more questions before I go get it.
1) If I get an app from my Ipod touch, will the app appear on the computer my ipod is synced with?
2) Same question but will it do that If I buy a MOVIE from my Ipod touch?
3)Is there a way to log off the account you're in when you get into Itunes?(top right hand corner)
4) if there is, Is there a way to get music from my dads account to a new account?( I currently use mi padres)
5) What does it mean to "Jail Break" an Ipod Touch?
6) Should I do it to my touch when I get it?
7) is there a way to burn DVD's onto ITunes using a windows vista software?

1. Yes. it should sync to your libary automatically.
2. Yes, but this time, you will have to connect the ipod, and go to file>transfer purchases from "your ipod's name". then it will be in your library.
3. yes, i beleive that you click the little white triangle on the left, and click logout. if you are the only user of that computer, or you trust the other people who may use the same windows account, there is not really a big reason to log out.
4. get a usb and copy and paste the files onto your account from his. you may need and external hard drive, depending on the amount of files you are transferring. if these are songs purchased on his account, he will have the enter his password to allow you to have them, once they are in your iTunes. he will have to enter it once, and then thay are yours.
5. jailbreaking is when you install a file onto the touch that lets you install 3rd party apps (apps that apple doesnt sell), and you can potentially get free apple apps (which is illegal, i believe)
