Hi, I am about to buy the TOSHIBA Basics Portable Hard Drive - 500GB with usb 3.0 and I am wondering if i plugged the drive into my tv etc. what will the quality of the video playback be? as i will be using the hard drive for my movie collections.
Can anyone offer any advise please, thanks in advance.

This depends on how you are going to connect your hard drive to the TV. If you are going to connect it through the PC, you can install All My Movies program for your movies and all of them will be ready to start with one click.
