What do you put on your 3TB External Hard Drive?

Just wondering what other people put on there 3TB External Hard Drive. 3TB is very big capacity.

I use it to store all my games from steam since they are a lot of storage. I also use it to do bi weekly backups of my computer. even after about 50 games i still have 2 TBs left so i probably wont be able to use it all soon.

is it bad to place and use my 3 tb seagate external hard drive sideways?

i have a seagate backup plus 3tb external hard drive and i was planning on using it sideways because its easy to tip over cuz its shaped like a tower pc. so is it bad for the hard drive to use it like that?
