Compaq presario sr5223wm won't start up when my WD My Book 3TB External Hard Drive is in?

I have two WD My Book 3TB External Hard Drives. My old computer broke and my new one is a Compaq. My old computer would run just fine if I left in my hard drives but the Compaq won't boot past the load screen if the hard drives are plugged in. They work just fine if I plug them in after it boots up. Is there a way I can set things up so I can just leave them plugged in without issue?

In your BIOS check your "boot order" and move "usb" down. I prefer cd - first, hard disk second and the rest really don't make much difference.

I recently bought a usb 3.0 3tb western digitial on blackfriday for $100 normal prices for that is around $150 which is still cheaper than most other brands
