Laptops vs. Desktops
âI do indeed write on the road. My laptop goes with me everywhere.â Nora Roberts. Computers are a big part of the society of the twenty-first century. Human Beings have become so reliant on them that they no longer use a pen and paper to write a report. Seeing that we depend upon them that much choosing the right one is highly important. There are two main types of computers which are laptops and desktops. Even though they have the same basic functions, they are both genuinely distinct machines. I prefer desktops over laptops for their efficiency.
Desktops have more processing power than their laptop counterpart. Since desktops are stationary and arenât intended to be moved, they can house a bigger motherboard allowing for larger components. Another advantage of that extra space is a larger hard driving giving more space on the computer for storing video files, audio files etc. The combination of all this gives them more RAM which is a measurement of a computers processing power.
Laptops are more portable because of the lack of external wired connections from the motherboard to the monitor. The huge advantage of that is that you could take a laptop to a coffee shop which would be nearly impossible with a desktop. Considering that, laptops are wieldier because of the smaller profile. You can store them in a drawer and get them out only we you need to use them. When it comes to laptops and desktops there is always a sacrifice between processing power and portability.
Desktops are more economical than laptops. The reason for that is because laptops components have to be made on a smaller scale which cost more money than manufacturing the same constituents for a desktop. Laptops have to be powered by a battery which also adds to the total input cost. Most desktops do not house wireless adapters which can cost between sixty and one hundred dollars.
There are gigantic separations between laptops and desktops. The choice of computer still comes down to personal preference. How you plan to use it is completely up to you. Laptops are profound machines, but desktops are still finer appliance. âMicrosoft has a monopoly over the desktop operating systemsâ. Stewart Alsop.

Ok. I'll give you some constructive criticism (so please don't take this the wrong way). It almost seems to me that you are showing two sides in your essay. In other words, you seem to be supporting desktop computers and laptops. But by the way it sounds in the beginning, you are probably supporting desktops. I was always told to only choose one side and stick with it...otherwise your essay with seem a bit contradictory. Overall, you have written a great essay and i otherwise can't complain.
Oh, and one more thing. You didn't exactly quote right... Here's an example of a quote: Stewart Alsop, an expert in computers (or something like that...), once said, "Microsoft has a monopoly over the desktop operating systems". Continue to do that (and change it up a little bit) with the rest of your quotes and you should be fine.
Hope i helped!!! :)

Thanks for the answer Shane, but I'm not really that good on computer configurations and I'm kinda wealthy, well my dad is and I want a computer, which acts like an ultimate or super computer, that will last me a decade or kinda like 5 years, so will this config do that? Plus I wanted to know about Cyberpower, are they good or bad?
