I,m want to know what is the best portable hard-drive needed to backup my software and what the difference in portable hard-drives?

If you have High-speed internet then i would recommend using the Cloud
Reasons:
* Portable Hard-drives have a high failure rate ( Hard drive error, you drop it, magnets, water/weather)
* High Startup cost ($99+ for a cheap one) and warranty is usually limited
* You have to carry several pounds around
* Need to have more power to use it
* Easy for someone to steal your drive
* You don't have the drive with you then you can't get to your data

* Comes with backup software that you can schedule and will back it up
* Easy access from any computer in the world to your data
* Data can't be lost/destroyed
* Low monthly/yearly fees for data, as storage gets cheaper prices will fall.

What portable hard drives work with macbooks?

Well im looking for a portable hard drive that can work with a macbook. I thought every hard drive works with and type of computer but i looked on the back and it said only windows vista, windows 7 or windows xp... so what can work for a mac book
