is and external hard drive hard to configure with exzisting hard drive, what is the format in useing the two drives together...? does external automatically work with the one that is internal with the computer?

Yes they will work together, install the second drive as the slave drive, if using an external it's much easier just plug it in, format and you're ready for data

I am trying to save my itunes onto an external hard drive so I can transfer the file from my mac to my pc. Whenever I try to drag the itunes file onto the external hard drive it says "The item 'iTunes' could not be modified because 'Seagate Replica' cannot be modified."
please help!
