I just recently bought a Portable Hard Drive?

i bought a Western Digital MyPassport Hard Drive (500GB USB 2.0-3.0)

any Opinions if this is reliable or not?
I am not going to have it connected all the time, it is storage for all my Personal Files. I plan to connect it about every 2 months just to transfer new files into it, but thats about it.

What do you think? Can I rely on it for a long time?

Ya you can rely on it. Portable hard drives were ment to hold lots of things for longer periods of times(greater than your computer will probably last).

Thunderbolt and USB 3.0 External Hard drive?

I currently have a usb 2.0 mac only. but will be upgrading soon too a RMBP. So I was woondering if anyone is aware of any external hard drives that support Thunderbolt, USB 3.0 and 2.0??? Preferable if it was greater than 500gbs and not too expensive.

I only know of two Seagate does some great hard drives that can be easily converted to USB 2/3 and Thunderbolt through their GoFlex Technology and Lacie makes some really nice Thunderbolt and USB 3 HDDs.
