Portable Hard Drive Enclosure?

I have a seagate 750GB portable external drive, and dropped the thing and broke the piece that converts SATA to USB....it could be fixed by buying a replacement case ("enclosure") but the hard drive is about a millimeter too thick to fit into any enclosure I've tried. Does anyone know of a bigger model? or a solution other than a bay / ordering the part from Seagate? If it could be more portable than the original chunky Seagate case, it would be best for travel.. but any help, please!

To overcome issue of size, I bought an external enclosure for 2.5" SATA hard discs for â¬10 Euro and an internal 2.5" SATA 250GB drive for â¬50, so I have 250GB external storage that can fit in a pocket and powered from single mini usb port.
I checked, you can get 750GB 2.5" HDD ~â¬90 and get rid of your big chunky Seagate solution

I'm in Ireland, so these two options would be available in my area, but I'm sure you can find something suitable nearby.
