What kind of external drive should I get?

Im looking for a portable external drive to store some documents, pictures, and files. Ive seen a lot of good Western Digital passport drives that feature USB 3.0 but many of them are only 5400rpm. Primarily I do lot of video editing and file transferring. What is the best 7200rpm USB 3.0 portable hard drive that I can find?

I want to get a hard drive for more memory to put all my media (movies, mp3's, TV shows) as either backup file storage or storage.

I want to know which hard drive you would recommend that's reliable and won't cause me any big problems.
