Should i buy ipad2 or kindle fire?

Nidal

i dont know which one 2 buy could u tell me which 1 and y

plus what r some good psp games

Answer
Hey Nidal, if you want the best get iPad as it is a much better device that has a larger screen, two cameras, and over 500,000 apps/games in iTunes store. However, it is also much more expensive, heavier and less portable to take with you on the go. Kindle Fire is not a replacement as it is one underpowered device. Nook Tablet from Barnes & Noble clearly is the superior device. How about choppy video vs. smooth video or choppy apps vs. smooth apps - all reviewers noted much better performance of Nook Tablet over Kindle Fire in "choppiness" department - that's where 1 GB or RAM, better software and better screen come to play. Also, Nook Tablet has microSD slot (not on Kindle), a mic for Skype (not on Kindle), physical volume controls on the side (not on Kindle), and non-glare laminated screen (not on Fire).
Some pro reviews below:
New York Times:
Most problematic, though, the Fire does not have anything like the polish or speed of an iPad. You feel that $200 price tag with every swipe of your finger. Animations are sluggish and jerky â even the page turns that youâd think would be the pride of the Kindle team. Taps sometimes donât register. There are no progress or âwaitâ indicators, so you frequently donât know if the machine has even registered your touch commands. The momentum of the animations hasnât been calculated right, so the whole thing feels ornery. The built-in Web browser...itâs not clear what all of that gains you: nytimes.com takes 10 seconds to load, eBay.com takes 17 seconds, Amazon.com takes 8 seconds. The iPad took about half as long each time. ...if youâre used to an iPad or ârealâ Android tablet, its software gremlins will drive you nuts.
CNET:
We streamed Netflix side by side with the Kindle Fire, and head-to-head comparisons were very favorable to the Nook--it simply looked better. Both tablets have the same app, but the Nook Tablet's picture looked more vivid and detailed. The Nook Tablet also has physical volume controls on the side, which come in handy--the Kindle Fire strangely lacks them. The screen, which is a higher-quality IPS display than the Kindle Fire, really shows off Netflix and Hulu Plus to amazing effect...
It's the best screen on a budget tablet that I've ever seen. More storage--both onboard (16GB) and via microSD expansion--and the ability to read EPUB files could be big news for those who want flexibility. There's plenty of expansion room, and you'll have a hard time running out of space for your apps or your magazine downloads.

Kindle Fire Extra Memory?

Marshall

The Kindle Fire is a nice tablet and has every function I could ever need EXCEPT one; there is no slot for extra memory. Although the Kindle Fire has an Amazon Cloud service, it will only work for Amazon content, and you can't connect unless you have Wifi.
However, upon reading, I noted that the Fire has a microUSB port that allows it to connect to a computer. Through this connection, you can load user-generated files such as apps, movies, music and more. When I thought about it, I noticed that this essentially turns your computer into extra memory space.

My question is this; is there any sort of hard drive or other portable memory device that connects to microUSB? And if there is, could it be used as extra memory for the Fire?

Answer
Hi, Marshall, you cannot attach any extra devices to USB port on Kindle Fire. Looking at the tablets people always confuse memory (RAM) of the device that helps it operate quicker and smoother by loading apps and web pages into memory and content space that is used for storing apps, videos, files, etc. Neither of those "memories" can be extra added to Kindle Fire as RAM is not expandable on tablets while content space needs microSD slot to be expanded and it's not present on Kindle Fire.
I'd recommend you to take a look at the new Nook Tablet that had been getting rave pro reviews on the web and it is the best device in it's class - much better than Kindle Fire. It's got Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, Angry Brids, etc., the best battery life, the best screen, double the RAM and space for apps/photoes/movies, microSD slot and a microphone for Skype, and much zippier performance during video playback and apps usage than choppy/laggy act of Kindle Fire according to many user reviews. Also, many Kindle Fire units have faulty Wi-Fi and people have a lot of issues connecting to internet according to many user reviews. Amazon's own web site has hundreds of reviews of Kindle Fire's new owners that gave it 1 or 2 star reviews because of choppy/laggy experience they got from this underpowered device.
