External hard drive damaged if you move it?

Well I have this portable seagate external hard drive and was wondering if I move it around will it damage it while it is processing/transferring/or running? I seriously love this 1tb thing and don't want anything to happen to it. LOVE THE SPACE!

Moving it no. Banging, clanging jarring, anything abrupt will probably do damage to it. They are pretty tough, but sudden movements are the worst for them.

You can buy an external hard drive enclosure that has a Ethernet cable and power supply. A lot of people use a network hard drive for home or business network. You might have to open up a port on your router so people on the internet could download or upload upon it, but this isn't advised because it will put all your other computers on your network at risk of being hacked and viruses.
