Where can I find/buy a portable 1000 GB hard drive?

Where can I find/buy for myself a portable 1000 GB harddrive? I'm specifically looking for one that's around the size of a typical 80-250 GB Western Digital (WD) Passport Harddrive, and NOT a huge, bulky, modem sized one.

The current 1 Tb drives (1000GB) are rather bulky still. You might find one at Costco. I saw one there that was about the size of a small laptop.

I bought a Hitachi portable hard drive, red, 250 GB at costco. It got install successfully and all. When I first open it there are some folders and files inside. So my question is

1) Can I delete this folders and files or do they have to stay there?
2) How do I safely remove the drive before I unplug it? because I don't see an eject option when I right-click on the drive.

Anyone else have one of these that can answer me?
A misunderstanding here. The drive is completly new, sealed. And the files and folders im talking about look like flash videos for some kind of introduction to the drive and on how to use it.

If the drive is not listed as coming with some type of software, it is likely that you got a used drive that has someone elses data on it. If this bothers you, I would take it back to Costco. If not, then jut delete the files.
