Can I use pc hard drive as an external hard drive for laptop?

I have an old fujitsu siemens scale p pc that has died, I am not at all computer savvy and I don't know what is wrong with it but I know the hard drive is fine.
I have a lot of stuff on the hard drive and was wondering if it is possible to remove it from the pc and use it as an external hard drive for my laptop,
It doesn't need to be brilliant, Even if it is just to recover all of the stuff on it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

yes u can remove the pc hard drive and put it inside an external hard disk drive enclosure and connect it to laptop via usb port
