can i save game progress on xbox 360 games on a portable hard drive? If not is there still a way for teh xbox to recognize teh portable hard drive?

yes, an external hard drive is recognized just fine, you can use it for movies, music, etc.

I just bought a Seagate FreeAgentGo and i want to connect it my xBox 360 but it does not seem to recognize the device at all. I have connected other USB's and my WD hard drive and i could access files straight away. Any advice on what to do?
